.ca redirecting to .com on every search & unable to create a marketing sale. Whats Up eBay?

Users in Canada and elsewhere are being redirected to the US site when selecting categories to search on the main ebay.ca page or search results page without using any keywords. Avoid searching that way; you can add keywords and search, or else choose the categories using the "Shop by category" links on the left side of the search entry field.

If you are trying to go to a category to browse, try using the site map link at the bottom of the page.

It still does this when I search by category on the left side, the only way I can get it not to do it is when I use advanced search. Also whenever I select a filter it takes me to .com as well.

eBay really needs to tackle this ASAP as I'm sure its effecting sales by hindering buyers search techniques.

I'm having the same issue too.

@royal_retrowhat browser are you using to access/search eBay?

I'm having issues when using Firefox but I intend to test out my 2 other browsers.
