cant send us buyer an invoice from canada if sales tax state?

see above- whenever i send an invoice to a US buyer, a state sales tax, i get the above error message. The other US states are fine (no sales tax states).

That message (technical error) has been coming up for months for a lot of us when sending an invoice to the US. I find it usually goes through fine. Make sure you send a copy to yourself & you will see that it was sent.

Are you invoicing through eBay or through Paypal?

Theoretically, if you have the shipping cost stated in the Shipping tab, eBay will be invoicing your customer and you don't actually have to.

I suppose this is different if you have a multiple-listing sales, however. I don't often see those (*sob*).
