In any case, it's legacy and no longer used as part of eBay's measure of seller accounts.
No one ever understood it, least of all buyers.
I suspect the only reason it's still on the Feedback page is that removing it might mess up something else.

What about this:
"Keep in mind that detailed seller ratings aren't annonymous - sellers can see the individual ratings they receive."
And yes ebay spelled anonymous wrong.

It used to be that you can specify the time period when the ratings were received. to obtain information about the ratings received.
If I remember correctly. You can adjust this time period and find out which buyer left the rating.. The rating is left when the feedback is received.
You also might suspect who left the rating... This will help in adjusting the time period for your reports.
Once you find out everything you want to know.... Do not communicate with the buyer, as these ratings are not to be used to identify the buyer...They are private....
But now you know who to block from making future purchases.

I used to be able to adjust the window one-by-one, or in groups and determine when the detailed seller rating in question showed up.....
Looks like this is no longer available... perhaps because detailed seller ratings are no longer used to determine the status of a seller on eBay
