I just looked at my latest invoice and am being overcharged for FVF's.
I guess they are not happy getting what they can after raising everything and they hope we don't notice the slight overcharges.
Absolute crooks and should be reported to the authorities.

Typing in all caps is yelling and very difficult to read.
You do realize that any taxes that ebay collects on fees goes to the government, they don't keep it.
Canada isn't the only country that pays taxes on fees, European sellers have had to pay VAT on fees for a while now.
You are not registered to collect taxes for sales in Canada? If you were, you would only have to charge tax to Canadians and since you have few Canadian sales, that would be fairly easy to do. Then you would be able to get credited for taxes that you paid out on any business related items such as tax paid on merchandise, office supplies and ebay fees.

The problem is simple: "Member since: 18-Dec-00 in Canada"
As such, you are subject to GST/HST on fees like all other Canadian eBay sellers.
Most countries do in fact charge tax (GST or VAT) on fees. The USA is the exception (no wonder they have such a huge national debt).
If you are no longer a resident of Canada, you should contact eBay and change your registration accordingly.
If you are Canadian and are registered with GST/HST you will get a credit for all the tax paid on fees.

The GST is a Goods and Services tax.
The fees you pay eBay are for the service of providing a venue to advertise your buttons.
The GST is charged on those fees.
While most Canadian sellers find that their domestic sales are a small part of their business, you cannot list on dotCA, as you (and I ) do, without offering shipping to Canada.

"... and this is happening only now"
As a Canadian registered eBay seller, you should have received a message from eBay - we all did - that the Canadian government would start charging GST/HST on fees to all Canadian eBay sellers - regardless where one lists - as of July 1st, 2017.
As such, eBay is obliged to collect the tax (as they do in other countries) and remit to the Canadian government.
If you make your living from selling online and your worldwide revenues (sales and shipping charges) exceed Cdn$ 30,000 you must by law be registered with GST/HST even of the vast majority of your sales are outside Canada. As such, whatever tax is charged to you on your eBay fees will be fully credited when you file your GST/HST return. In other words, the change will not cost you one penny.
