how many times do you relist a auction when it doesn't sell -- even though the selling price is on avg for me is .99 starting and no min. i have about 14 auctions going right now and none have sold ---over two weeks have relisted them when they come due -- all are 7 day as this is the cheapest .17 cents to list -- thought when i got a premium store --(i have had one for 8 months now at $80 dollars a month) that all listings where covered free to max monthly listting level--- i guessed wrong -- another grab by ebay --only regulat listings are -- not auctions -- back to question when do you the experts on auctions stop a auction series and revert to regular listings 3/4/5 times ? i have about 7/8 more items to try auctions with -- bring my total of auctions to about 23/24 total -- then i will stop any more till i see at least one auction sell-- should i try instead of .99 cent start trying .01cent- start- even though i have been told thats not a good idea -- what do you think ??? any helpful tips on auctions ??
thanks inadvance for the help

My helpful tip........
Looking at what you are listing I suggest you dump Auctions entirely!
If I was looking for a particular hardware item it's because i NEED it, I don't want to waste my time with an auction I might not win.
I see that you have the BIN option on those Auctions but they seem kind of high (I really don't know) perhaps just appear high when compared to a 99 cent Auction start price.

Once.
And that is only when DH insists that the item go to auction.
The second listing is Fixed Price and usually a higher price, although I do use Best Offer with high/low parameters set for acceptable Offers.
Usually the low is the original Auction opening bid.
Most of the stamps of the world have been catalogued and most collectors are quite capable of understanding what the catalogue price (CV) means.

I abandoned auctions many years ago - did never regret. Some items need to wait for the buyer. It can take 1-2-6 months, or even longer.
The record item I found was listed in 2006 (I can date procisely, because I recognized the photo's background, which I changed in September 2006), so it has been relisted 205 times. I am still tryng to sell it 😃
