i received an email for a promotion to list 500 items for free until april 2
now all the items will be buy it now and good till cancelled
so my question is how long can i list the item for before getting charged for listing fees ? forever -like good till cancelled?
cant seem to find an answer

I answered your question on the first thread you posed it.
GTC renew every 30-days.
If the first listing is free, you will be charged in 30 days from now.

Is the promo for auction ? or BIN ?
GTC is only free during the promotion period -- renewals after the promo time period are regular price.
GTC are only included in a "free" promo if the promo says so. Your email should have had an eBay link to the details.

Your post on the other thread said you received a promotion for no-insertion-fee AUCTION listings, not Buy It Now. You will pay insertion fees on any Buy It Now listings that exceed your 50 free per month on .ca and .com. On Good til Cancelled, you will pay insertion fees every 30 days when they renew. Good til Cancelled cannot be used for Auctions.
