Canada Post not showing up as shipping option on Shippo

 Hi there, 

I recently created a Shippo account and then created a Canada Post business account. 

My Canada Post account is connected to my Shippo account (I don't have the metadata). It shows it as active. 

The issue: anytime I go to create a label, it does not show Canada Post as an option when I select "package type" from the drop-down menu. It only shows USPS, Fastway Australia, and CouriersPlease. I have included an image.

I would assume it thinks you are American. Do you have an US-address associated with your ebay account?

Also, you cannot say this in your listings. Or enforce it.

Your ebay account? Or your Shippo account? 

Are you logging into Shippo from its website? Or from ebay.com?

My eBay account is a Canadian address. As for my Shippo account, that too is a Canadian address. I am logging into Shippo from GoShippo.com

Log in from eBay from: "print shipping label" in your sold items.

You also have to activate Canada Post the first time you print a label and deactivate USSP.

I found the issue. 

I looked at the eBay account I had connected to my Shippo account. When I click "go to eBay," it redirects me to ebay.com. So by this, it must mean that it is recognizing my eBay account as being American instead of Canadian.

Also, once your Shippo account is set up, recognizing you as a Canadian, you will not have to use the drop-down menu under "Own Packaging", just proceed to Step 2 of 3 "Select Shipping Rates, and you will be directed to all Canada Post shipping options.

(You may have already discovered this, but just in case ......)

No difference for the rates you see than those from logging directly into goshippo (which is mostly how I do it).

I'm not sure if this will shed any light on your question but it may help. When you create a Shippo account you can create a Canada Post business account at the same time. Shippo tends to have "click to open" toggles in odd places. It's possible you didn't see your Canada Post business account number. I've had mine since Shippo started on eBay. If you went to the Canada Post site and opened your own business account there then you likely have two different accounts. When you log in to Canada Post online you will not see the Shippo account. Both accounts will have separate account numbers.
