Shipping to the USA via Canada Post with 3 copies of invoices?

Shippo tells me to attach 3 copies of commercial invoices with my package. I never had to do that in over 10 years shipping via Canada Post. Is this as I believe a mistake ?

This is only a requirement with "commercial" shipments when using a non-post office shipper.

Shippo is set up for multiple sites and multiple carriers (and it shows with messages like that).

Safe to ignore.
