You took out Paypal option cuz it would not make money for you.  What you are doing is illegal.  E[smeep]legal.

ie: my postage charge is 114.76 turns into 165.62 on CC

I checked my Shippo settings and it still lets me use PayPal when paying.

You should be contacting Shippo to ask why your credit card was charged US$

The loonie has dropped considerably in the past month and a half.

And the rates change constantly, although like most companies and banks, Paypal tends to change the rate no more often than daily.

There is also a difference between buying and selling foreign currency.

EBay was forced to spin off Paypal in 2014 by Wall Street wolf Carl Icahn, who made his money on the split and then wandered off laughing.

No.  that option was gone.  I had badger the support to link it to my hippo account.  

those charges are bogus.  I had to call my CC to challenge it.

the claim is that they checking with stripe.  

to my surprise.  stripe aint no better than paypal..

well, you use paypal shipping, you should know they dont' charge conversion coming from a balance?

yet, for instant payment, they ding you with a transaction fee. the amount is dependent from the buyer's location
