How to report a misleading item description or post a warning to other customers?

I was looking for a Lenovo TP Yoga when I saw an Ad that sells the laptop but claims while it doesn't come with a digital pen you can buy one separately. (presumably to use on the machine)

From my research I knew that this would not work because only select models of the laptop come with the technology to use digital pens and they come with a pen and are more expensive because of the hardware needed to support pen input.

The ad repeats that the pens are a select special feature and that you can buy one separately.

I think this is misleading because the ad doesn't include model number information and its inclusion of material from yoga models that can be written on with a pen implies you can do that too with this laptop too.

I wanted to report this detail but the report feature doesn't let me comment and I'm afraid ebay will overlook this detail and think its legit.

Have you considered simply contacting the seller and explain your question?

Dollars to donuts the pen is available from the seller, although not through eBay, at a 'special' price.

Unfortunately, since the seller specifies that the doohickey doesn't include the pen, and many items are legitimately sold on eBay without parts you would expect to get (eg DVDs without the plastic case), I don't think you have a case.

It's a matter of 'caveat emptor'.

I understand what you guys are saying but many people that purchase this device are expecting the model(!) that includes pen support because that was a heavily advertised feature in stores/ in the ad.

Its not just that a part is missing from the device and is declared but he is implying this laptop can do more then the model he is selling can.

I messaged the seller and he would not explicitly tell me the pen works on this model. He only gave me the model number and my research confirms that this model does not come with the technology necessary to support the pen! It won't work despite him saying you can find the pen elsewhere and I asked him to make this clear.

I am not posting this for personal gain but because I can easily imagine someone older like my dad or mom being duped by what this guy is implying. I wanted to be able to warn others or do something if he doesn't correct the info he provided.
