How long was it listed? Most auctions run for seven days (the choices are one, three, seven and ten days) and if unsold they go into that folder for 90 days if you do not end them.
Or is it just taking longer to index than usual (under 24 hours, and the more sales you have made successfully, the faster it goes.)
Could we talk about your listings?
Your titles are horrible. While "prom dress" is certainly searchable, you have 80 keystrokes to sell your item. The title is the most important part of making that sale.
You should include colour, maker, size, fabric, tag status.
"Prom Dress fuschia Laura chiffon Sz 3 goddess bridesmaid formal NWT spaghetti strap gown" gives your customer more information and more terms for it to be found.
And speaking of size: DD recently bought a pair of Lululemon pants, Size 2. This is only relevant because she normally wears a Size 12. The name of the size varies with the price of the garment.
Put in measurements. Is the bust of that gown 32" or 40"? Could be either. How long is it? Would DD who is 4'11" have to take it up? Would her BFF who is 5'12" wear it as a midi?
Is the bodice boned? Or does the wearer need a strapless bra? Or cosmetic surgery?
You should also add a picture of the attached tags. You can blank out the price, but the attachment and the brand name are important.
While you are starting shipping only to Canada and listing in loonies is good. But we are next door to the world's largest economy and they only understand American dollars.
Good luck with your new venture! And a happy and prosperous New Year!
