packing slip not appearing/ tracking information not updating

I have had regular intermittent problems with shipping through PayPal this week:

. Occasionally the 'print packing slip' option is not available after creating a shipping label for Canada Post.  I have to go back into the transaction, and then click classic view to find a print packing slip option.

. Frequently the tracking information isn't being passed back to eBay so I have to manually transcribe the information from PayPal

This doesn't happen every time, but it seems to be occuring in about 30-40% of my transactions.  I can't pin down a commonality in them.  

It's not debilitating but it's highly annoying!

This has happened to me twice already. I've never had to manually enter tracking numbers. When I finish printing my PayPal labels, the tracking number just appears on ebay.ca.  I'm not sure if this is a problem from PayPal's end or ebay's.

i hve had lots of trouble printing shipping labels through pay pal for three days,i phoned 7 times 5 reps said there were no problems 2 said there were problems,seemed to be working again yesterday,but for 2 wks ive had to enter the tracking no myself,im in western canada so may be different where you are

This has been an extremely annoying on-and-off problem with paypal for weeks. I tried to raise it at the Weekly Chat with eBay Canada and was told they have zero ability to work with paypal now that the split is complete. I don't know what the deal is with paypal now but it certainly needs to be fixed. It's too time-consuming for a seller to have to backtrack to every aspect of every shipment on both ebay and paypal to double-check that what was supposed to happen really happened, and then manually fix what hasn't. I mean, really. If this were a brick-and-mortar store, it's like a cashier having to repack every bag three times and then triple-check each receipt before the customer can leave the building. 

Paypal used to work flawlessly ever time. New Paypal sees every second transaction messed up in some manner, and that's being generous. I want Old Paypal back!

Thanks for making me aware that it's not "just me".  It happens a lot.  I also note that I have had several cases where address information won't populate between eBay and PayPal so that I couldn't ship.  It seems random because if I try to fulfill the same transaction at a later time it mysteriously works.  It would seem that the electronic data interchange between the two services is broken somewhere.  Pure speculation on my part: there are likely multiple listeners (on both ends) and I'd say one or some of them are broken at any given time.  Therefore it's kind of 'luck of the draw' whether or not the information you need interchanged between the two sites actually occurs.

I think eBay/PayPal are guilty of ignoring their sellers in Canada.
