There's no guarantee that this would work, but it won't hurt either.
Since you mention a Building and Room number, is your address on a campus or a worksite?
Is there a central Mail Room?
Go there and ask the staff to notify you if the parcel turns up. It will have your name on it, and you will also know the name and address of the seller.
If it's an apartment complex, speak to the superintendent of the complex.
I wouldn't tell them exactly what is in the parcel, just that it is important for your work.
You might also talk to the Post Master at the Post Office where undeliverable parcels are brought. She might be able to catch it.
Or not. But it's worth a try.

Did you pay through PayPal?
Check the payment details, you may have the seller's address there. Pretty easy to find a phone number on the internet once you have name and address.

I use the mastercard for payment, but the agent seems to be paypal. Because it is quite embarrassed to speak with the person who is already known for impatient of me, so personally I hope it could be solve by ebay...

There's nothing that ebay can do right now as noone can intercept the parcel. If the item can't be delivered it should be returned to the seller by Canada Post. If you're willing to pay for the shipping to the correct address once the item is sent back, then let the seller know that by contacting him through ebay messages. You could also try contacting him by email....his email address should be on the payment confirmation from Paypal. The seller may prefer to just refund you or he may be willing to send it back, it is ultimately their decision.

Thanks a lot, your suggestions are super valuable. Since my condo does not have a central mail room, the deliver will post a notification at the entrance. So I just need to worry about whether I can take it if that address is invalid . By the way the post code only refer to my condo, So the deliver is possibly make the correction by himself easily. Though I cannot put so much gamble on it.
The seller is unwilling to give me the information of tracking number (and if I know anything can be solve), but I do know the exact carrier company is, so I am possible to lock it in more narrow range. However, whether they are willing to offer me the package status quite depends on my luck.
Anyway, because the price of the product is much lower than the market price (It is a very funny bid because the seller copy too much product information and covers up his description of the product, no one else take it seriously then...), if it comes back to the seller's place, I believe the opportunity will certainly lose. So I have to make a try. Thanks again for help~

Hello, It might help to telephone the seller? To request seller info go to opening page - and over to the right next to search use the ADVANCED search - it takes you to a page that says Advanced Search - on the far left there is a column that included FIND CONTACT INFORMATION, this will take you to another page where you can type in the ID or email address of member.
THIS ACTION SENDS YOUR INFO TO THE SELLER by email, and emails their information to them. I hope this helps.

If the seller is in the USA and used the Global Shipping Program, he doesn't have the tracking number. He sent it to Kentucky to the GSP plant with tracking, but after that the GSP number is not public.
Normally this is not a problem, since the GSP parcels seem to arrive about the same time as any other.
It does concern me that he is unwilling to cooperate. There is no good reason to do that.
And you got a very very good price on the laptop? Hmmm.

That is not true. It can take a while for the gsp tracking number to be posted but it has never been private.

I does sound suspicious that the seller is not willing to give a tracking number. I can't imagine someone posting a macbook air without using tracking.

By the way, one thing that need to be clarified is that I maybe prejudged the seller. The fact is that my questions have not been reply
for a long time or with short and useless information. However, according to the tracking information, the item was in "delivered" status on Wednesday (because it is carried by the agent), and I send him the message on the same day. So he might think that I have already get the parcel right after my inquiry.

I am not sure whether he is unwilling or not (I use a wrong word before). But I was only told that the agent is Canada Post after questioning him. The below shipping information is empty before today, he only renew the status from preparing to shipped.
