2 bidders, one with 0 feedback and 4 bids, should I be worried?

While I've been a member and buyer for some time, I've just recently started selling on ebay. My first auction turned out to have a non-responsive/non-paying bidder. I've re-listed the collection and the of the first two bidders, the most recent bidder has 0 feedback, a really disconcerting handle and the account was JUST created the day I listed my item.

When I checked today it was showing 5 bids in total with the last 4 being the person I'm wary of. See the below image.

Am I right to feel suspicious of this? Should I block them or what? Any guidance from more experienced buyers is appreciated. Thanks! auction

Hello 'crimzenmango'

That bidder may be perfectly okay, or maybe not.  As a seller you can removed bids from

your items if you don't feel right about it.  You can also block bidders, - certainly those non-payers

who have Unpaid Item Strikes already, but up to 5,000 individuals as well.  Obvously if you remove

a bidder you will want to promptly add him to your 'blocked' list afterward.

Have a look through the following link outlining all the many assorted ways to keep a maximum

number of people away from your items, including Cancelling bids, Blocking buyers, and so on:

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/manage_bidders_ov.html

Whoever you sell that to, you might want to send it using a Delivery Confirmed service.  That will

protect you against any false 'not received' claims.  You are a new seller with a low feedback,

and there are people who will take advantage of that.

And if you ever decide that non-payers on auctions are really getting you down, you can set up your

listings at fixed price (Buy-it-now) with Immediate payment required.  That is currently the only way

you can expect to get paid right away:

Hope it works out well for you  Smiley Happy
