In this new generation of buyer, the "I want more of a bargain than a bargain" bunch, I feel like nothing surprises me anymore.

This morning however I got a message from a buyer in the UK who was asking for a shipping discount because they were a US citizen living in the UK and they felt they deserved the US rate...

They walk among us.

LOL, that is a good one.

Anytime I get free shipping request, when I am priced competitively, I tell them how much it costs me and immediately put them on my BBL. Come to think of it, I have added quite a few lately.

Had a UK bidder (I only ship to USA & Canada) ask me to put up a BIN on an item for the opening bid and allow them to buy it...

um... no mention of paying me for shipping (my items are all free shipping ... "TO USA & CANADA") ... so nyet... i dont tink so..

Just had one complain because my postage stamps added up to .17 cents less than I charged. Smiley Sad

I too have had requests for free or discounted postage.  My reply to the potential buyer is "I asked Canada Post if they will ship for free or cheaper to you, they said no, so my answer to you must also be no".  I'm hoping that when thay get a sarcastic answer back, they'll think twice before asking another seller.  I of course put them on my BBL.  Cheers.
