I have 1 buyer that is great a delight...

 

they buy items all the time and have for years .. They are always polite understanding and couldn't ask for a better buyer BUT

I get messages from this buyer like i was their boyfriend or something atleast 1 a day every day sometimes 4 with the same question if I do not answer quick enough..

 

do you have .. will you get.. how much this how much that .. When this and when that ... how are you today ..
Have a great night.. Thanks got them .. when are you shipping.. Is there french audio ... is there french audio.. is there french audio....

 

 

drives me up the wall and at the same time make me laugh my butt off LOL

I have had a couple oddballs last month, I did have a strong sales however

 

One customer demanded a refund, refused to return the item and threatened to leave negative feedback

I complied..

 

Another customer began sending messages about item not received 3 days after purchase.

I had one that lived about 40 miles away. Very chatty, how was the weather, how long selling on eBay, what was my home address etc. etc. After I told him that "my husband and I...." and I was almost 70, no more messages. Can't understand why!!

In fifteen years selling on eBay, I had one customer like that last spring. 

 

He claimed the stamp had hidden damages not apparent in the listing and requested full refund while refusing to return the item.  I explain a full refund will be given upon receipt of the "damaged" stamps.  His reply was that it was not worth his time to return it ($65 stamp) and quickly left negative feedback.  The only one I have received in years.

 

And life does go on.

 

I believe in customer service but will not give in to blackmail.  I am too old for that.

Well it wasn't a smooth transaction but deserving those neg not even clos.. It is rare I deserve any neg... Neutrals yes  but I don't even pay attention anymore because most of the negs I get are just people who woke up on the wrong side of the bed ...

 

Although I am not sure about the wrong disc thing .. i have had items straight from big companies with no disc inside but they never told me about it until leaving the neg so ?? but shipping 5 movies they received 2 did not receive 2 and 1 had a wrong disc supposedly so not hard to understand the frustration for them but I was there through the 15 panic messages and very polite and everything went fine from first to last message then bam all the negs popped up ...

 

then I refunded one and we agreed to wait a little longer for the other 2 and to let me know if they received in by end of the week ... Well they let me know by leaving me negs which then i refunded and block ..

 

Honeslty I have had a good 30 MIA parcels from November to Now it is unreal and some people just don't believe it when I tell them they always think I am trying to pass the buck ..

 

The way I see it is sometimes you have to present customers with facts other then a bunch of yes yes yes sorry sorry sorry  and when I do most believe me and some just Think I am blaming it on someone else for fun...

 

I never understood that.. I take care of all my customer very well but any mention of canada post sucking and bam I am lying and a horrible person for stating a simple fact that the customer doesn't want to hear even though they want answers . They just want the answer they want and not the facts ..

 

It's pretty simple and clearly stated in my listing all buyer must wait up to 30 days for parcel to arrive...

 

I did this because I think it is fair to both parties and gives me time to figure out Is on it's way back or late or lost ...

I had one that was similar.  Purchased a set of decals for his motorcycle that 50 other people had purchased and did not have an issue with however because he could not put them on properly claimed the material was "**bleep**py garbage" Even though it is the best material available for decals and we have been selling it now for 14  years.  I would have been more receptive to his issue had he not been so rude and insulting with each message.  I did try to respond to his complaint but he got more agitated every time I responded in a calm rational way.  It's like he wanted me to sink down to his level and be as rude as him.   His last message was that our business was **bleep** and he hopes we go out of business and I better give him a refund or else.     Makes you glad that it is not someone you have to deal with on a daily basis.
