I just received a pair of jeans I purchased on ebay and I think the seller may have changed the description aftermy payment went through. I am sure I purchased a size 2 and what arrived was a size 4. There was no longer a size listed in the title, just a 4 deep down in the description.
Is it possible they could change it - or am I crazy?

Firstly I think we all must be crazy so let that part go.
Each revision that a seller makes is time stamped and will show you details as to what was changed.
That being said it is also possible that going in now to look at the ad will not show the size you ordered if the seller has no more in stock so keep that in mind.
Just some food for thought.

But really it is irrelevant.
Tell the seller that the jeans don't fit and ask for a refund on return.
If she refuses, file an Item Not As Described dispute.
Even if she says she doesn't take returns. That's irrelevant too.
You will have to return the jeans with Delivery Confirmation/tracking. This can be pricey. The return shipping is not required to be refunded but better sellers do if the problem was their error.
BTW. Size is even less relevant. The manufacturer's size is a lot like the White Knight's Song. "the name of the song is called..." The size varies inversely with the price. DD normally wears size 8 to 12 but in LuluLemon yogapants she wears a size 2.
Always look for measurements. And beware of Chinese sellers who can't believe how bid we Westerners get -- even a size two!

If there were any revisions made, you would see something like this in the listing:

"There was no longer a size listed in the title"
There was never a size listed in the title. Perhaps you saw some other jeans that said size 2 in the title but not the ones you ended up purchasing.
"just a 4 deep down in the description"
No matter where the size was, your jeans were listed as size 4. There were no revisions made to the listing. The seller did nothing wrong.
You're nto crazy. You just probably were looking at a lot of jeans and didn't realize you were not buying a size 2.
