Buyer did not pay for an item

I sold a graphics card to a buyer and he never paid. I tried contacting him and sent the invoice a few times and then "life" got the better of me and it's been 40 days since the sale.

I did not start an unpaid item case with Ebay. It was a dumb mistake I am sure since you can only start one between 4 days after the sale to 32 days.

I was charged $25 in seller fees.

Is there any recourse at this point?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Buyer did not pay for an item

Well, you could try phoning eBay and discussing it with them, using your attempts at communication as your reason, but I suspect you have a $25 life lesson here.

Put the deadbeat on your Blocked Bidder List.

In future, ask about payment once, and if you don't get paid within 24 hours, open the Dispute and close it at soon as possible. The fastest turnaround on this is eight days, four until the Dispute can be opened and four for the buyer to respond.
