I looked at your items, even under the strictest interpretation of the new (incredibly vague) regulations your items which are made of paper can still be sent via lettermail.

If you use hard plastic protectors for the cards you might have to switch to cardboard but when placed in a bubble envelope I defy any postal worker to tell the difference.

Surface to the US have been way longer than 8 days.
i concur with the 6-8 weeks delivery time frame as these happen to me very often.
i wonder if the delay is canada post's fault or usps.
