Can I ask buyers to pay cash on pick-up

Is it OK to ask buyers to pay cash when they pick up their items? Are we allowed to do that? Is there a way to block a buyer from paying with Paypal so he has to pay in cash when he picks up the item?

It is not only allowed it is expected and encouraged that pickups be cash only.

EBay evenhas that as part of the listing form.

I don't think you can actually refuse Paypal in these circumstances, but you can refund the payment and ask for cash on the doorstep.

The reason that you ask for cash on pickup is that with a PayPal payment for a pickup, you have no way of proving that the item was delivered and a dishonest buyer could open an item not received dispute. You would lose the dispute because the item was picked up and you have no way of proving delivery.
