Can I ship to a location that I originally blocked in my auction?

Because I am still learning, I decided to restrict shipping to just Canada and US. I have received an email asking if I would ship to the UK.

My question is, can I do this, or do I have to go by what I've said in my auction?

Hi Andrea.. Can ship anywhere you like. Do you have buyer requirements set to block bidders from countries not shipped to..

Would have to add the member's ID to your buyer requirements exemption list so they can bid.

If you have the slightest doubt about this transaction,you don't have to agree. You can also consider using a delivery confirmed service if the value of the item warrants it. Whatever you do,don't let the buyer talk you into cheap surface shipping. It's not so cheap when it takes a month or more to arrive and in the meantime the buyer opens and wins an item not received dispute.

Give the customer the cost of Small Packet International Air shipping (for inexpensive items) OR of ExpressPostInternational shipping (for valuable items) OR of Light Packet International (for items that you don't mind losing).

Don't give the customer a choice. Pick a service and stick to it. And all these services are AIR MAIL.  Never ship overseas by surface.

Most people are honest. Some people are nervous of slow deliveries. Postal systems are very reliable but you do get what you pay for. AIR MAIL.

Another concern is if there is "problems", will the safeguards that Ebay has for sellers still help me?

I've been reading about if the buyer opens a case of item not received, and I go to the Resolution Center to supply proof of delivery, but then what if Ebay notices I shipped somewhere where I said I wouldn't, then will that nullify the process, and I will have to issue a refund and have lost my item.

After the person wins, doesn't the invoice get sent

automatically by Ebay? Do I tell the buyer to ignore that one,

or do they pay it, and then send money for the difference for shipping?
