Cannot revise listing - add photos

I have tried searching for solutions to this issue, but had no luck. The ebay customer support system sucks because I tried the "call me" option but it never comes through. There seems to be no easy option to just email…and I refuse to cancel and relist an item that should easily be editable.

All I am trying to do is upload the photos to a listing I put up yesterday. It already has one bid on it so I know I cannot change the condition description etc. However, when I upload my pictures and click on "revise item" or save, I keep being given an error message that I cannot revise condition description if there is a bid on my item. I AM NOT DOING THAT, AND HAVE NOT CHANGED ANYTHING IN THAT AREA… why do I get this message, how do I clear it…? I cannot upload the photos, or do anything else because of this one, irrelevant message.

I have tried clearing out all cookies/cache etc on my browser, I tried doing changes via android app…. and even tried not upload photos and pressing revise item…. which gave me this error message:

• - Please enter a valid value.

There is no highlighted field, and no valid value to enter anywhere

I'm getting really fed up with ebay…. and if anyone suggests cancelling and relisting (thus me having to pay again to list the item, and losing current bidders - watchers)…. I might just scream loudly!!

It's been a few days.. hoping this has been resolved for you. If the "Call Me" feature isn't working (likely due to it being in the testing phase), please try the alternative & reach out to Customer Support directly. If you're still having trouble, please drop me an email and I can look into someone giving you a call.

Sorry, nothing worked and customer service was not at all helpful. I sadly ended up having to delete and relist the item, thus also losing a bid which was not recovered.

I am having the same issues. I have a counteroffer that will expire in 2 days. I just found some pictures, that may help  to sell my stuff, but I can not upload them. Really frustrating. This whole ebay system is getting over-complicated. It takes forever to finish a listing.

Those shipping rules too! I simply refused to buy anything that is shipped with Global shipping. It costs double then a regular good old fashioned shipping. I heard sellers who offer this loose lot of customers.  

I wont even look-at their listings. My friend  stopped using it, his sales increased by 40% almost instantly. 

I just hope someone will start a new simpler and more fair selling-site soon.

hey, just wonder if u ever figured out how to upload photos with "revise " option? I have the same problem! I already uplopaded 12 photos, but i want to add photo gallery there is nowhere to click!!! So frustrating. called the number on customer service the guy was obviously "by the book" or "by checklist" type no functioning skills at all!!! I am Selling a really nice jacket n its ending in a day n half so need some help with additional photos upload or how to swab photos etc. Thank u so much ...ebay has been giant pain not as easy n user friendly as used to be. :(:(:(:(:(

I'm not totally sure that I understand what you are asking. I believe that the maximum number of photos you can upload using the ebay gallery is 12 so you are already at your limit.

If you want to add photos in the description area you have to do that using html. There is no automatic way to do that through ebay. But, it looks like you already have bids on that listing so you are restricted on what you can change or add. You may not be able to add anything to the description area but perhaps someone else knows that for sure.
