Combining same buyer shipments after payment.

Hi ! Marc here !

We have been having this problem lately... Hope you guys can help us fix it for good ! Just so you guys know, we use ebay to print our shipping labels using the awaiting shipment section of selling manager pro.

Ok so this buyer buys something. Waits 5 days... Buy something else... And pays for them separately the same day.

We start packing only to realize to late this guy had 2 items we could have combined into the same package. Since he bought the first one 5 days ago and the second one just now, they are not next to each other in the awaiting shipment section.

Is there a way to fix this problem ? To make sure your not sending 2 different package to the same address the same day ?

In your Ebay preferences you can select up to 30 days how long a buyer has to combined items purchased but if you still have an item someone bought 5 days ago you need to ship that asap ...

Yes, unless the buyer told you in advance that he was planning on buying another item and asks you to hold off shipping, it is important to get purchases out as soon as possible.

EBay even gives you a small boost in Search for short shipping times. And that overlooks the question of DSRs.

Some sellers moan that they cannot get to the PO very often. However, if you use Paypal labels or even keep a stock of postage stamps on hand, you can drop any mail, including barcoded/ DC services, into the nearest postbox.  My DD does this even though the postbox is actually at the PO since she had a blowup with a grumpy clerk a couple of years ago.
