Ugghhh.
Used my supplies coupon yesterday, got some weird error message when I was trying to apply it but it looked like it went through ok.
eBay message said I paid zero, PAYPAL message said I paid zero, however when I went to look in PAYPAL it still showed the charge of -$83.59!!!
ARggg, so I called eBay merchant support. Very nice lady suggested waiting till today to see if it was just slow reconciling within PAYPAL.
Today comes and no change.
Call back to ebay merchant support. Helpful fellow is very confused as to why it didn't apply because everything looks good on his end. He suggests I should call PAYPAL.
I call PAYPAL frustrated that I got punted over to them.
Helpful PAYPAL fellow says it looks good to him and asks me what screen I have up (summary).....tells me to look under the "Activity (including balances & fees)" and lo and behold there is the offsetting transaction. Only the "charge" side shows up under the normal "summary" screen I use.....sigh, so there never was a problem!!!
So it was time for RICARMIC to put on the embarrassment face.... PAYPAL fellow was good/understanding about it, but how embarrassing.... with all the coupon troubles, I was looking for something to go wrong, too hard I guess!!
(I thought it worthwhile to put this up incase anyone else encounters the same thing for offsetting coupon charges too)
