Didn't receive item from seller it was bought and paid for 2 months ago

I bought an item 2 months ago from a seller in China for 107 dollars and I know it takes longer for things to come by mail from China, but 2 months seems to be a long time for something to come from anywhere in the world.  So I have sent 3 emails in the last 2 weeks to seller asking for info about when the item was mailed and a tracking number but I have heard nothing back.  What do I do now???

Thanks Roxanne

Hi Roxanne.. unfortunately at 60 days there are not a whole heck of a lot of options.

Had you filed within the 45 days that PayPal allows, money would be in your bank account rather than sellers.

Was the payment charged to your credit card. If so , call Customer Service # on back of card and request a charge back. Have all transaction details on hand when calling.  'fraid that's it.

In future, no matter where the item originates, plan to ask the seller at Day 20 for the Delivery Confirmation number , service used (air or surface), and the date of shipment.

If the question is ignored, start an Item Not Received dispute with Paypal.

If the item was sent surface, plan to start an INR dispute on Day 40.

Don't worry if there is no Delivery Confirmation number. This protects the seller not you. But it will put him on notice that you are not to be messed with.
