Dispute with Buyer

Hi: I'm new to selling on ebay and let me say my first sale has been a nightmare from the start. Buyer has sent far too many emails, would pay on this day and then another day. Finally paid after over a week when Unpaid Case opened automatically. Shipped product confirmed delivered by Canada Post but buyer states never received. Buyer put a hold on my paypal transaction. Yesterday afternoon buyer states item received but 8 hours later says it was not his order. I've opened a ticket with Canada Post (buyer refuses to provide phone number to Canada Post). This is my first sale & I do not want negative feedbank. I will be contacting Paypal this evening any other advice would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!

Dispute with Buyer

You have to decide whether to cave in to this buyer or not - they're milking the fact that this is your first sale.

Dispute with Buyer

If the case opened is still for an item not received you can give paypal the delivery confirmation number and they should take off the hold. I'm surprised that Paypal wasn't holding your money automatically for 21 days as they often do that with new sellers.

Has the buyer explained why he says that it is not his order?  What does he want to do...has he suggested that you give him a partial refund?   In situations like this I would probably tell the buyer to send  the item back for a refund. If he's fibbing then its unlikely that he will send it back.

To get the buyers phone number, you can request their contact information from ebay.
