Does Tibetian SILVER have lead in it?

Does anyone know? I just saw an item have (lead free) beside it , and there was to me the exact same item a few hrs earlier but it didn t say LEAD FREE, so just wondering?

How dangerous is this to handle or wear?

Tibetan silver is very likely to have lead and other heavy metals in it. the one thing that you will likely not find in Tibetan silver is silver.Tibetan silver contains little or no actual silver. I wouldn't recommend buying anything advertised as Boeing made of Tibetan silver.

If you have a minute, why not do an internet search?  Type your question into an online Search engine and you will get all sorts of answers about what is in Tibetan 'silver', - which you will find contains little or no actual silver, but often lots of lead. 

It's like 'PU leather' which is really vinyl, or 'cold cast bronze' which is really resin, - that sort of thing.  With all that lead, - because you can never be sure what is in it - personally I wouldn't have it in the house, but a lot of it sells on ebay, - jewelry items that are worn next to the skin, that sort of thing.  It's always a good idea to do a bit of research on anything before buying, certainly if you have questions about it.

I bought some earrings that r "tibetan silver". Then I searched that kind of silver on the internet. I don't remember if it said it has lead in it, cause I was in shock to read that this described silver had "ARSENIC" in it. Guess I will be throwing these items in the garbage.

So buyers be aware of what u may be purchasing if at all concerned about your health. I am very surprised that Ebay allows these potentially dangerous items to be sold.

Yes, I should of done a search first, but if anything it's a heads up for other buyers.:O
