Does anyone know how to stop a member from sending me harassing messages over and over again ?

There is a Report button on all those messages.

You can Block the messages that come to your personal email by using the spam filter.

You can Report the sender to his own email provider.

There is no need to open any messages from any sender. Just delete them.

No, but you can call eBay Customer Service. The button that used to allow one to Report a message is a dead link now, or at least it was for me the last time I needed to use it. All you can do is set aside the time to call and report the person. But do that, it is important for all of our benefit. Your call might make the difference. Eventually, if you note each message AND enough other members complain, the sender will be sanctioned and/or booted from ebay.

I feel your pain. I've had problems as well. 

Don't reply. This type of person only gains satisfaction from that.
