EBAY: FIX YOUR SHIPPING CALCULATOR!

Someone has been messing with the shipping calculator (again) and now it only accepts Canadian postal codes if all the letters are input in upper-case eg, it will take M5W1E6, but returns an error message if you input that as m5w1e6. This is nuts! Never had this problem before . . . someone in the Systems Dept must seriously have a big broomhandle up their behind to have done this to us.

The correct way to present as postal code is with Capital letter and numbers.

M5W 1E6 is the correct way to present this postal code.

on all parcels, letters and anything else shipped with Canada Post.

I get many addresses on eBay and Paypal  with lower case letters, and it can cause problems with interpretation....

It is nice that eBay offers many services like shipping calculator but I wouldn't trust the eBay's system and wouldn't rely on it.   The problem with eBay is that they continue to change, twitter, change this and this and that too often, it just screw up so many things that is not worth it, but eBay continues to do so for some strange reasons.

I always beleive the motto: "If it is not broken, don't fix it".   eBay, hey listen, don't fix it when it is NOT broken, just leave it alone!!

I tested different postal codes in your listing 230905692609 and lower case with or without a space between the 3 code groups and it works fine for me.

I regularly test my new listings with different postal codes to make sure they are calculating correctly. I have not seen any issues in the past few days.
