I was surprised to see that Sellers can now opt to have their Feedback Hidden.
You can't read what other buyers are saying. IMO this is doing a disservice to buyers.
Yes you can see the pos neg and neutral scores but that does not tell the whole story.
I want to know if the seller is poorly packing items sent, not sending items or poor quality.
EBAY Why are you doing this? It makes no sense to me!

Sellers have always been allowed to hide their feedback as long
as they didn't have anything for sale.
As soon as they list again they have to show their feedback.

I don't know where you got your info, but the seller has items for sale and his feedback is hidden.

Ok just looked deeper into this and you are correct about the feedback must be unhidden when listing new items. So if the seller tries to list a new item he won't until he unhides his feedback. Got it. Thanks for the reply.

There may be some confusion about eBay's decision yesterday to remove links to listings in the feedback page.

"eBay is making its feedback system less transparent by removing purchase details from the feedback page in a move that has already shocked some users who noticed the change start to roll out to the site right before their eyes on Wednesday.
Because eBay did not announce the change, many wondered if it was a glitch or a test.
But eBay spokesperson Ryan Moore confirmed it was a deliberate policy change."

No big deal! It is good for sellers not wanting to show how many negative feedback and hide them for a year but not ideal of any sellers who are selling them daily or weekly.
