Final selling fees' calculations - error ?

I have sold two books yesterday and eBay has charged me 9% for the first book and 13% for second.

I was very confused and called eBay. Young man checked with somebody and advised that 13% is incorrect and said that I will get a credit of the difference, and I should see later yesterday.

Checked this morning and did not see the credit, but there was a charge of 13% for the book that was sold overnight.

Did somebody else experienced this?

The FVF calculations are based on the rate in effect at time of listing.

If the book was listed in May, the rate for a seller with a store would have been 9%; if listed prior to May 1st, the rate would have been 13%.

Thank you, Pierre, for your prompt response.

I visited the http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/storefees.html page and it states that for books the FVF is 9%.

Where is the information about 13%?

Check your seller invoice for April.  You will notice 13% is the rate eBay charged you on books sold at fixed price.

The old fee schedule is no longer available on eBay.

The FVF of 13 % was for books with a final price less than $50.... for all listings that started before May 1 or renewed before May 1.

That information disappeared when May 1 arrived.

All you will find on eBay are the new FVF.

All books will have an FVF of 9 %... most likely as of May 31.....31 days after the beginning date for the new 2013 fee structure.
