Flat rate shipping on sale, if my buyer is in same city how do I cancel shipping fee?

I have listed an item with flat rate shipping of $20.  If a buyer within my same city wants to buy and pick up the item how do we complete the transaction within eBay policies?

Hi dp1042,

When you send the invoice, you should be able to apply a discount equivalent to the Shipping fee.

Set an appointment to have him come to the house.

When he arrives he should pay you CASH - loonies and toonies not a cheque or money order. (Actually money orders are not too bad but money is better)

Do not allow him to pay through Paypal because you will have no proof of delivery.

Correct the invoice to remove the shipping charge and then mark the transaction as PAID.
