Happy Canada Day everyone!...I hope everyone enjoys a safe and fun holiday, and takes some time out for family and friends. I know I will be using the holiday for a much deserved break, and the weather is just gorgeous here in Ontario!

Also a reminder for those that charge tax in their listings to buyers within Canada, the changes are pretty easy to do...go to "Acount", then to "Site Preferences", and then "Payment from buyers"...and then edit "Use sales tax table".

Again, the changes are pretty simple- a seller in Ontario just needs to update BC to 12% and NS to 15%, and that's it!

... if all your products are equally taxable.

For sellers who sell different types of products which may include things such as books (for example) the problem is much more complex.

Books remain taxable at 5% only in ON, BC as they have been in NL, NB and NS for years.

Other items are also taxable at a lower rate.
