Has anyone else noticed discrepancies in the currency conversion? My total ended up being 12 cents more than it should have been....

The difference between CAN and US currency is less than one cent right now so I don't understand how I was charged an extra 12 cents on a $3 purchase. Has anyone else noticed this happening?

Hi .. There is a cost associated with buying foreign currency be it from the bank or PayPal. PayPal charges a conversion fee of 2.5 %.

 Ebay's conversion rate should only be used as a guide and checkout will always be slightly more . In addition , exchange rate is in constant motion whereas PP adjusts based on a quote from their bank, received twice daily.
