Has anyone noticed the url when you add tracking?

Just tonight I was adding tracking and a funny url came up, at first I thought I got redirected to another site, so I did it again.  Same thing.  I was on .com when I entered the tracking. 

Have you noticed?

When I do a search in Google on the URL that you show in the screen shot by using "Who is" and the URL you showed , I get this web page that explains it. Not much info but since it ends in .ebay.com, it is a valid eBay URL.

If you break down the "gstrkui" part, it starts to make sense.

gs = ??? (not entirely sure on this one, thinking maybe an abbreviation of "goods and services")
trk = short for "tracking"
ui = common abbreviation for "user interface"

It's likely just a sub-domain eBay uses specifically for their tracking pages.
