now why is his feedback going to drop? the best thing to do is leave feedback ahead of time, I noticed it works a lot better that way.

also new buyers won't be able and so easy leave bad feedback, if anything I think his feedback will go up.

simple good service + good product can only = good feedback

so what if one can't leave neg, or neut to a buyer anyway doesn't make u any money, and besides once a buyer pays one should give positive feedback.

just like in any other retail store, customer comes first
I have been only leaving neg. feedback to 0 score or less and after a dispute of non payment and reply, so what if I wont be able to do that.

cheers!

I would like doing that but Auctiva software does not support automated feedback after payment, only reciprocal.

Don't understand your point, I use Auctiva and When it comes Time to do my daily Shipping from my seller manager
I simply select all & then select FEEDBACK and then select Positive & Random

even if you don't have seller manager, one can do it manually, not like your selling 100 items a day i don't Think, you can do it manually and just use copy and paste or w.e. you want

sounds like a weak excuse can't leave Positive because you use auctiva, is there something I missed that one cannot override that setting?

Have a Nice Day:)

akleathernmore: Are you charging the same for shipping to USA as Worldwide? I just looked at your listing 350046171581 and they both show $14.00

Most likely he or she is, Because shipping Local here is expensive, I just to a loss on a belt, I charged 6.90 and cost me 10.90 to vancover from qc. if I would of shipped the same item to the states it would cost only 4.60 Canadapost should have Light Packet, and small packet.

also just shiped a Camera to vancouver to and Express cost only 1.50 more than exp. or reg.

I noticed lately the expidited service and reg.Parcel are the same cost.

wish the had a good price for shipping smaller items, that would be great for sales.

Not necessarily. There is another eBay glitch where Worldwide shipping prices are shown as U.S. Shipping.

Well Thats good to know, That's not good for sales.

Can you please explain a little more? Normally for areas that I don't put a price for shipping it will prompt ask seller for shipping cost etc.

Thanks

Just like I said. Example: I listed shipping as follows:
Canada $12.00 USA: $6.50 Worldwide: $18.00
Top of my listing showed: Ship to USA: $18.00
When I called eBay, the young man I spoke with said it was because USA was a part of Worldwide. I contacted my Account Manager and it was confirmed as an eBay glitch that they were not able to fix and had no idea when it could be fixed.
I revised my listings to avoid "Worldwide" shipping and I check off all the countries instead.

even if you don't have seller manager, one can do it manually, not like your selling 100 items a day i don't

We ship some 5-10 orders placed via eBay a day, each has between 1-10 items.

As I said I prefer to leave FB after payment. But I don't care about it enough to do it manually, that's why I automated it. Did it manually after payment for several weeks and was annoyed with the experience. Why to add a pointless task to already packed day routine?

We just reviewed our inventory ... have over 800 SKUs and growing and only some 400 is listed here on eBay. Every SKU requires lot information to collect. I would also like to start adding proper customs declaration with harmonized (HS) code for every item line (until now we just write "Electronic parts"). This will be way more usefull for my customers than leaving FB few days early.

gifts of elegance-
Some items I list are the same for usa and worldwide depends on where it is being shipped from, if from the factory in Pakistan they are the same generally , if from Canada they are different depending on the item and weight.

ROCKYEB220- ya shipping from Canada is expensive holy- I just sold a porcelein doll for 3.99 and put shipping to be at 10.00 , it cost me 11.89 , so you can guess I did'nt make anything on that sale with the fees maybe 0.75c, I was only guessing at the weight when I listed it and didnt think it would cost that much.
I also had to cancel a listing for shipping of a leather coat that I sold for 9.99 to sweden the shipping was going to cost 130.00 from Canada.

Even the items I sell that come directly from my manufacturer cost alot more in shipping them I charge , I just absord the rest of it in the cost and buyers think I am over charging in the shipping but it does'nt even come close to what it really costs. When they have to return an item because they made a mistake on measurements and I tell them it will cost 50.00 to return ship they freak out , but that is still not the real cost, it is more then that.

We barely do 1/3 the business we did a year ago. And, less than 1/2 of the business just before Christmas.

If it weren't for the NEW rules regarding POWER SELLERS- WE WOULD NOT BE HERE! (NOT THAT WE WANT TO BE !!!!!)

Selling 100 small items is easy (though the fees eat way too much of the total)
Selling $1000 worth of small valued collectible items, in a very competitive market is very tough- ESPECIALLY with the lower US DOLLAR, and the looming recession.
