Help Identifying Dionne Quintuplet baby dolls

I have recently acquired these baby dolls which are marked Germany on the back and swaddled in the original blankets with original pins. They are marked Germany and look hand painted. After a thorough and exhaustive search, I still was unable to identifying these dolls. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They could well be the Dionne Quintuplets but one has a blue ribbon and I thought they were all girls. If they are the quints then you have a real treasure there.

Perhaps, but like most collectibles they have a Best Before date.

Those who remember the Quints are in their 80s and 90s now. The market has shrunk. Mind you, so has the supply.

Those dolls appear to be Kewpies rather than the Quints. I'm just going by the kiss curl though.

From a bit of googling, the 'official' dolls seem to have been Madame Alexander brand and have painted on straight hair for the newborns and mohair wigs for the older babies and little girls.

Clothing varies in colour.
