I am not sure what "error" message you mean exactly. Did you want 3 of the item?
When looking in your Purchase History, are all 3 there? Are the dollar sign icons
a deep blue indicating payment? Or do they now have the 'reverse arrow', meaning
the money has been refunded?
What does it show in your paypal account? Did you draw funds from a paypal balance,
your bank account (an e-cheque) or a credit card? If it was the latter, refunds on a card
purchase go back on the card, but this can take days or even longer.
If you paid from your bank, the refund goes into your pp account. Same for if you paid
from an existing pp balance. In your regular email you should have a note saying
Your PayPal payment has been refunded.
Do you have that?
