I have been a long time buyer on ebay and have only recently had a problem. I was looking at putting in a bid for some earrings and was told that I couldnt bid on them because I had 2 unpaid item strikes. I have never not paid for anything in a timely fashion and would like to know how I find out where they came from and how to dispute them. I would be greatful for any help you can give on this matter.

Hello 'dawn',
You say you were 'told' you could not bid on the earrings because of 2 Unpaid strikes, - told by whom?
If ever you had an Unpaid case opened, you would know about it as messages would be sent to your regular email. On your My eBay page, from the Account tab, under Personal Information, - do you have the correct email address there? How about your Communication Preferences, - have you blocked off any ebay communications?
Do you share an account with anyone? Does anyone have access to your account? Continuing with the My eBay page and looking at Purchase History, -- what do you get when you click the word Archived? See anything you did not order? It's a bit late now, but going back to your Account it wouldn't hurt to change your password.
Otherwise, what I suggest you do is try calling ebay and see if someone there can help you sort it out, or at least enlighten you as to how, when and why this has happened. In the top right corner of the page you will see Customer Support, click on it and choose the Contact eBay tab. It's free to call.
Good luck. 🙂
