How do I get my money back from PayPal for an item that I received from seller and paid for with Paypal,

The item arrived damaged, I have written, (e-mailed) three times to seller and they have ignored my requests.  I have had NO response from them.

You can open an 'item not as described' case but that has to be done within 45 days of purchase.

And if more than 45 days have passed you call the 1-800 number on the credit card you used to pay (Paypal is only the mediator) and ask about a chargeback.
