How do I respond to this feedback?

I recently received the following feedback:
"This seller shill bidded me and he sells fake watches. Dont buy its a rip off!!!"

Now I don't know what to respond because I don't know where that comes from. He never paid for his item so I never sent the watch and now the guy says I sell fake watches...

Anybody else has dealt with an idiot like that before?

I would have done exactly what you did, neg them back. Sometimes I wonder where people's brains are when they are buying on ebay. I get some weird ones as well.

Ouch! Nasty guy!!

Couple of things. First did you file a UPI with eBay? If so and they didn't respond then the comment they made would have the rating removed and a note from eBay saying they didn't respond to the UPI filed on them. I'm not 100% sure but I think you may have to apply to eBay for that. I don't know if it's automatic or not.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS file UPI's on non-payers. It's important to give them the strike and to negate any stupid feedback comments such as this. The UPI strike is far more important than the feedback. UPI strikes get them booted from eBay, the negative feedback doesn't.

I would respond to the comment in your feedback profile something along the lines of Non Paying Bidder, I don't shill and don't sell fakes. Or instead of saying negative things as in don't sell fakes, say a positive. I only sell quality original goods but definately say Non Paying Bidder. And if you haven't filed a UPI dispute - do so now!! You have to do it before 45 days from the end of auction date I believe.

Hello all.I had filed the UPI and he responded he would pay. So that won't work. I'll try checking his info.

You're out of luck then. If a buyer responds to the UPI, then the feedback stays. I would add a reply to his feedback, by indicating that the buyer did not pay. In that fashion, when buyers review your feedback, they will see his feedback and your reply.

I think your message is very clear and sellers appreciate the warning.
