How do you file a complaint against someone when your item is past the deadline given by ebay?

I bought some yarn 6 months ago from an international seller -it was a large order, I sent her a message 2 months ago and she never replied. I just sent her another one, still no reply. I know it's past the point where I can get a refund, but this seller should be removed from ebay for lack of communication and basically ripping me off. How do I open a complaint with ebay about this, since it isn't a recent transaction, it seems impossible to get any help from ebay at all and the seller is still listing items! It's unacceptable and I'm ready to close my ebay account over this matter. 😞

Too late for ebay complaint. But PayPal has an 180 day window for Item Not Received claims. Log into PayPal and see if you are still within their window of 180 days (6 months).

If that is not possible, if you paid with a credit card through PayPal, call your credit card and see if you can do a chargeback. They have time limits too so it may be too late too.

You can also leave a Response indefinitely to any feedback left by you or by the seller.

The most effectives Responses are calm and factual.

'Not received after 60 days. No reponse to multiple emails.'

Unfortunately, you cannot mention Disputes in these Responses.

I am sorry to hear this. I feel your pain.

Instead of leaving ebay altogether, may I suggest you eliminate purchasing from overseas buyers for awhile instead?

If you check these boards you will find good domestic sellers who are heavily invested in ensuring ebay is a pleasant place to buy and sell. I know of a few at least who sell yarn and things. I'm positive you would have a much better experience with them.
