I guess they're a little behind on updating their listings for the new changes, LOL.

I just love sellers who ignore international sales. I know I sell something fairly easy to ship overseas ( stamps for collectors) but most of my sales these days are coming from outside of North America.

Only outdone by the ones who demand that you leave 5 stars BEFORE they will ship your order.

Unfortunately these types don't encourage buyers to shop on eBay and this hurts all sellers.

This is the kind of person who gives Americans a bad name...It's a wonder they have any feedback at all! Even if I lived in the US I'd be hitting the back button after reading those DEMANDS..lol

I remember when these kind of terms were fairly common on eBay. Instead of promoting their items, they made threats at all who showed any interest in their products.
Takes all kinds I guess.

Unfortunately, eBay is full of these wingnuts. Another "gem" I came across was:

"If you don't buy insurance, don't blame me if the postman plays football with your package".

Amazing that these sellers even get sales.

How bright are American sellers ? it's 2 word answer 😉

I still go to great lengths to buy from individuals rather than wannabe eBay resellers. I think it cost me about 20.00 more buying a new radio the other week, but it's just like new and came with bonus items and was only missing one original part I didn't need anywar, but he gave me a $5.oo credit just the same. Now I have what I wanted and he gets to buy a different radio without losing a fortune on the deal...

Hmmm... I've never seen a Power Seller issue a refund before except for me... Alex P Keaton I'm not....

It is unfair to generalize. There are many wonderful sellers out there. There are just 10x more sellers located in the USA, hence the "bad" ones outnumber the Canadian ones 10 to 1.

I've never seen a Power Seller issue a refund before except for me.

Guess you have not bought from us yet - we issue refunds for shipping overpayments on an almost daily basis. Refunds for missing or lost items are also de-rigeur. It's called customer service.

We still do, and will continue to add this statement- and updates, to all our auctions:
"Our goal has always been SAFE delivery of your items, and not speed.
We appreciate the feedback from the thousands of our happy customers.
There are many fine sellers on eBay who offer similar products.
HOWEVER, IF TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE- AND YOU EXPECT NEAR IMMEDIATE DELIVERY-
PLEASE SHOP ELSEWHERE!
We do not just drop your items in an envelope, and mail them!'

We are still Power Sellers- and about 25 items from achieving 12 month POWER SELLER Status.

Our real problem is with those that pay on a Friday- and then write Tuesday that they haven't received their item! PLEASE- GO SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE! As a buyer you will be blocked- and I couldn't give a damn about the feedback the customer leaves!
eBay has been an absolute nuisance when we as Canadians list on eBay DOT COM. Telling buyers that expected delivery/shipping will take a day or two is total nonsense !!!!! eBay recognizes that we are FROM Canada- though does not take into account that shipping is not a strictly internal USPS matter, when items are being sent from Canada- there are TWO Postal authorities to deal with- and the times given by eBay in no way represent that reality!
