I Would Like A Discounted Listing Day Ebay! Any Idea When I Can Expect It!

Its been a while since there has been a cheapo listing day. Just wondering if this is the norm for the summer months.

At what frequency do these discount listing days appear and what is ebays motivation to give us one? Is it the quarterly numbers that they are trying to improve?
Any thoughts?

I'd guess...not until after the "14%% discount" on the low price FVF is over. Leave it to ebay to promote a fee "decrease" that ends up costing the users more!

Since the whole "let's help the Canadians" initiative that went up in smoke...you remember those wonderful few days when we had flat-rate gallery?...it seemed they were coming about once a month.

I had the feeling that it was all .com was allowing .ca to offer us.

I don't think they will give us one until the 14% discount is over with. I have lots of items in my store waiting for one of those special days.

Come on ebay, please give us canadians a discount listing day.... After all, we have to compete against sellers in the U.S with a strong canadian dollar and are disadvantaged because of it. Canadian sellers who bought using Canadian dollars are losing 10-15% on each transaction, as compared to this time last year because of the exchange.
Help strengthen the canadian ebay community.
Please give us a significant discount listing day.

Finally a discounted listing day and I am going to be away all next week ... going to Cozumel Mexico for some scuba diving and a visit with my daughter who is a scuba instructor there. I could list for 10 days but I won't be here to answer questions until the last day of the listing. I will have to mull over the possibilities tomorrow.
I am sure I will not be a power seller by the time I come back since I got the warning email today and I have not listed anything this month.

Contact ebay PS support via e-mail and tell them you are going on vacation for the month and would like to put your PS status on hold. That should get you through the slow summer season. 😉
