Hi crockettsgirl.. No you cannot. Buy it Now listings with "seller requires an immediate payment of" showing in the payment section requires a credit card on your account.

For your info.. Most major banks now have a Visa/Mastercard debit that work as a credit card and can be added to PayPal. Will solve the problem of the long delay in echeque clearing and immediate payment. Just be sure bank funds are available.

You can also pay from a Paypal balance as Immediate Payment, but most people don't like leaving a stack of money in an account that pays no interest.

Not only does the credit card make money available only when you need it, but paying from a cc means you have a second line of appeal should a transaction go awry.
