I go through the whole procedure and when I get to paypal to pay , a Notice in red ink pops up saying , seller does not ship to box #'s so I don't pay and seller demands payment and e'bay cites me for ordering . I think the e'bay listing should show that the seller does not ship to box numbers at the start of the listing ; this would save a lot of time for everyone. L. Simpson

This is a spinoff from a uniquely American problem.
As you know, PO boxes are some of the most secure delivery methods possible. Either the boxholder has a key or she has to present ID at the counter and pick up her parcel. Even to get a box requires the presentation of ID.
But.
In the USA a lot of sellers use UPS or other couriers, for several good reasons, instead of USPS.
Couriers cannot deliver to PO boxes, since the USPS counter staff cannot accept or sign for parcels. So those sellers refuse PO boxes. And dim copycats would also refuse PO box addresses without understanding the reason.
If you have a street address, or a business address, use that instead of your Box number. Is this a supermailbox question? Do you have a helpful neighbour or relative?
