I have been out bid by what I think is an automatic bid. My concern is that I have been outbid with the same dollar amount? How can that be

I have been outbid on an item but it says I have been outbid with the same dollar value that I bid?  I don't understand how that is possible.

You and the other bidder bid the same amount but

their bid was made before yours.

Look at the bid history and you can see when they made their bid and you made yours.
