So I just bought two cans of soda and to know the quality of the items, I looked at the items specifics and it said : New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item (including handmade items). See the seller's listing for full details.
But I just received a message saying that if I want it full I'll have to pay extra shipping money because apparently the shown price is for a can that has two holes to empty said can, but making those holes obviously damages the can and it's not new anymore.
Am I in the wrong and am I supposed to pay or is it the sellers fault?

Upon further review it appears that the seller did mention that in an add that's under the item specifics but not in the item specifics themselves, Isn't that misleading listing?

Most liquids can't be mailed, even soda which may seem innocuous, but is under pressure and could explode. Messy.
In my opinion, the seller is clear about what is being offered. And there is that "see seller's listing" part to cover his butt.
If you are not happy with what he is selling, ask for a Mutual Cancellation.

I'm pretty sure it's not that hard to mail canned soda, I'd understand if it were a glass or plastic bottles (Plastic is still quite relatively safe) but the pressure given by the hermetically closed can makes it so there won't be the chemical reaction that causes bubbles (well at first there'll be a bit of reaction until it reaches the max pression that's not that far from the current pression and cans are pretty resistant to that max pression because of the way they're made.)
More-over the question is mostly about the fact that the listing is contradictory. Making holes and emptying doesn't not equal new and undamaged.

I just do not see how anyone, taking the time to read that listing as one should always do from start to finish, could believe they were buying anything other than an empty can with appropriate shipping cost.

Hello 'egar',
I can understand your irritation at what you believe to be misleading and contradictory statements in the listing, but it seems you will have no alternative but to view it as two parts of the same whole. He will not send you a full tin for the lower fee, so unless you want an empties, you will be expected to pay more.
He cannot force you to pay more than what is in the listing, and when you pay only the amount in the listing, he will send you an empty tin, as per his listing. It's not well laid out, but it's there.
You may be right that sending them full is perfectly acceptable, but liquids generally do require a bit more care and attention in the post, even if yours do not:

Perhaps those who drafted the document couldn't for the life of them imagine why anybody would mail soda pop, given the weight of it.
Ultimately you will have to choose. Do you want them full or not?
