Normally anything with a value over $20,00 Canadian is subject to fees and taxes.

However if sent by mail they sometimes slip through.

If shipped by courier or the GSP system you will pay.

How much depends on how much the jacket costs and maybe where it is made.

Do confirm that the seller is using the Global Shipping Program.

If the price is under $100, and the seller uses GSP for shipping, ask the seller, before bidding, if he is willing to ship by USPS First Class Package International which now includes Delivery Confirmation. The words in italics are very important.

If the price is over $100, you are probably better off with the GSP shipping.

It's complicated, but a lot of sellers are being sucked into using the program in a way that was not intended.
