In regards to vintage postcards, if they are unposted and have no personal markings at all, are they considered new or used?

New, then in the description write New Old Stock. Sometime sellers write NOS in their title. Good luck!

Hello 'littlebuddies',
A word about the term "new". Use it sparingly and with caution. Buyers are very prickly about "new" being absolutely without a hint of previous ownership and even the tiniest inkling of previous human handling can get some fusspots indignant about a "not as described" item.
That is why so many sellers list 'like new' items with "used, excellent condition", or "excellent pre-owned condition".
If you want to read what ebay says about item condition just for a reference:

The term New refers to items recently produced
Vintage post cards do not fall in that category
One can describe them as good very good excellent near mint etc (the last 2 I would use sparingly) but it's best to include an accurate description in the listings Many times small imperfections will not show up on the scans
I list primarily Post Cards on both my ID's on ebay plus the other sites I use
at times my descriptions are very detailed
many appreciate it I have gotten a lot of Repeat customers because of it
